Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ClockTrack ("the Service"), provided by Ralph Tsunashima ("we"). Using the Service means you accept them.

1. What the Service is

A web application that records the working hours and spending you enter, and adds them up for you.

2. About the figures it shows — important

Every amount the Service displays — pay, overtime, take-home, spending totals — is calculated from what you typed in. It is an estimate.

• What you are actually paid may differ, because of your employment contract, workplace rules, social insurance and tax deductions.
• The Service is not a payslip, and it is not employment, tax or legal advice.
• We accept no responsibility for the outcome of any claim you make against an employer or anyone else on the basis of figures shown here.
• Receipt and payslip scanning reads text automatically and is not guaranteed to be correct. Check the figures before saving them.

If any of this matters to your situation, speak to your employer or a qualified professional.

3. Your account

You need an account to use the Service. Keeping your password safe is your responsibility, and we treat activity through your account as yours.

4. Plans and payment

There is a free plan and two paid plans, Pro and Premium. Prices and payment terms are set out in the Specified Commercial Transactions Act notice and on the plans page.

Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each period and charge your saved payment method unless you cancel.

5. Cancelling

Cancel any time from the Plan screen in the app. You keep the paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate refunds.

6. What you may not do

• Break the law or act against public order and decency
• Place excessive load on the Service, or attempt to gain unauthorised access
• Attempt to reach another user's data
• Copy or resell the Service

7. Changes, interruption and closure

We may change the Service or stop providing it. If we withdraw a paid plan we will give notice where we can, and deal reasonably with any period already paid for.

The Service may also be briefly unavailable for maintenance, faults, or problems at the third-party services it depends on.

8. Your data

What you enter belongs to you. We do not use it for anything other than running the Service — see the Privacy Policy.

You can export or delete it from within the app at any time. For anything important, keep your own backups as well.

9. Disclaimer and limit of liability

The Service is provided as it is, without warranty that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.

Where we are at fault and you suffer loss, our liability is limited to the amount you actually paid for the Service in the twelve months before the loss arose. This limit does not apply where we have acted with intent or gross negligence.

10. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. We will tell you in the app or by email if a change is significant.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Japanese law. Nagoya District Court has exclusive jurisdiction at first instance over any dispute.
